home warranty companies in south florida

" Then we call to get the claim "expedited," stay on hold for an hour or more and a week later get someone out. Sometimes the companies are good, mostly they are not. This last claim the company sent out a repair person who told AHS a repair was covered and then AHS made them send out a second technician who said it wasn't covered as per his instructions from his boss, AHS is their biggest customer. Find another company and make sure whoever you go with they guarantee that they have plenty of service providers in your area. 4/14 Started service. 5/16 Called in for a repair.

home warranty companies serving texas

only for big ticket items. Furnace/Air, Fridge, and leave the rest uninsured. I've used their service several times for furnace/central air problems and they always show up the same day or next day and have always fixed the issue with no service charge. In my old house, they replaced the circuit board on the HVAC unit twice in a year for no charge. Of course it would only die on the coldest day of the year. and they'd still come out and fix it same day.

She said that she had many pool and plumbing problems this past year. They sent someone out for her plumbing problem. They were without water for almost 4 days waiting on the guy to show up. When he did not only was he not very professional he seemed to be very new to the trade and didn't know what he was doing. He ended up causing more problems than they started with and FORGOT to turn off the water to their garage apartment before he left for the evening and the next day the apartment was flooded which created a whole new slew of issues of having to replace carpet, sheet rock and molding. No thank you I don't need someone coming into my home and creating additional problems. We recently purchased our first home which was built in the 1920's. The age of the house along with my husband being away from home at least 60 hours a week and having a newborn + a 2 year old prompted us to purchase a plan through AHS. We'd hoped this would alleviate stress and unexpected expenses, but instead it has only added stress to our lives. Just to get a few small leaks repairs has taken over two months and one of them is still not fixed. Their contractor was definitely sketchy.
